VICTORIA
FALLS
Of course, the
main attraction to this part of the world is the famous Mosi-oa-Tunya
or “Smoke that Thunders”, as known by the local people, which
quite aptly describes the mighty Victoria Falls. First made known to
the world in 1855 by Scottish explorer, David Livingstone, who had
been attempting to find a route to the East Coast of the African
continent. Zambia is probably one of the very best, safe and vibrant
places from which to see and enjoy Victoria Falls.

There
is so much to see and do in this area, so be sure to spend sufficient
time here to enjoy at least some of the activities this region has to
offer. An absolute must in your itinerary is a visit to the mighty
Victoria Falls and, depending on your personal preference in terms of
adventure, adrenalin rush or simply a chance to relax, at least 2 or
more of the other activities is recommended.
