Moremi
Crossing
 |
Located near the most southern part of Chief's Island,
Moremi Crossing is situated on a small palm fringed and treed island
which is surrounded by the Moremi's game-rich seasonal floodplains.
Time slows down at Moremi Crossing as here guests have the chance
to experience the Okavango Delta and its game from a very different
slower and closer perspective: whilst on foot or silently being poled
by mokoro through the Delta’s waterways whilst in search of
game. Game which has been spotted on walks has been Lion, Leopard,
Wild dog, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Red Lechwe and many more.
On the mekoros you get to see the water birds and a chance to spot
the rare Pel’s Fishing owl. |
|
Gunns
Camp
Situated
deep in the Delta, on one of the oldest granted concessions, remains
this rare and enchanting find, overlooking the legendary Chiefs Island
and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Lion, leopard, buffalo,
elephant, hippo, crocodile, plains of zebra, red lechwe and a variety
of other buck, are just some of the game species thriving within the
Delta's eco-system. It is renowned for being a birdwatcher's paradise,
with over 240 species of bird flourishing in the swampland
environment, including the rare Pel's Fishing Owl and the endangered
Wattled Crane. Mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions, bush walks and motor
boat sunset cruises are idyllic ways of exploring the enchanting
Delta.
Pom
Pom Camp

Situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, on the head waters of
the Xudum river system in a private concession, this area lies on the
western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango
scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. Game viewing is of
the best offered in the Delta with sightings of major predators, a
variety of big game and plains game, as
well as an abundance of bird life, from mokoro (dug-out canoe)
or on land by 4x4 safari vehicle and foot.
Chobe
Safari Lodge
Chobe
Safari Lodge is located on the beautiful banks of the Chobe River,
home to the Chobe Bushbuck which is found nowhere else in the world.
This is big game country and famous for the huge herds of buffalo and
largest elephant herds in the world, as well as some exceptionally
large prides of lion and the elusive and solitary leopard. Game drives
and boat cruises are the order of the day
Victoria
Falls
The
famous Mosi-oa-Tunya or “Smoke that Thunders”, as known by the
local people, quite aptly describes the mighty Victoria Falls. First
made known to the world in 1855 by Scottish explorer, David
Livingstone, who had been attempting to find a route to the East Coast
of the African continent. One
of the famous wonders of the natural world, the Victoria Falls is
truly a sight to behold.
