the tranquil waters of the Okavango Delta to the hive of wildlife
activity in Chobe, and visit the breathtaking Victoria Falls in Zambia
and awesome Batoka Gorge. Explore
the Delta by 4x4 game drives tracking big cats like leopard, cheetah,
lion and wild dog as well as various mammal species; by traditional
mokoro (dug-out canoe) and motorboat providing excellent birding
opportunities and close encounters with the smaller creatures of the
Delta; walk on the islands of the Okavango; catch the game fish of the
Delta, the Tiger, as well as other fish species. Experience
the abundance of game in Chobe, from huge herds of elephant and
buffalo to sable, giraffe, roan and various other species. Excellent
sightings of lion, wild dog, puku and lechwe from 4x4 safari vehicles
and boat cruises on the beautiful Chobe River are memorable. Enjoy
the awesome raging waters of the Batoka
Gorge in Zambia, alive with raptors and other birdlife. Explore this

Scenic
air transfer from Maun to Camp Moremi Accommodation: 3
nights accommodation, in East African-style
safari tents, at Camp Moremi, on the
beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern edge of the permanent
Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Activities: Morning
and afternoon 4 x 4 game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve, exploring
the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat. Game
Viewing: This area is renowned for frequent sightings of lion, leopard & cheetah, as well as wild dog. Other game seen in the area are hyena, hippo and the full range of antelope, large and small, including the red lechwe. Exceptional bird-watching opportunities, as birdlife is prolific and varied, ranging from water birds to shy forest dwellers. Day
4-6:
Boat
transfer from Camp Moremi to Xugana Island Lodge Accommodation: 2 nights
accommodation at Xugana Island Lodge, in elevated
reed and thatch chalets situated on the shaded fringe of the
spectacular Xugana Lagoon, in the Okavango Delta, assuring an all
year-round water wilderness experience. Activities: Exploring
the delta by motorboat or canoe (mokoro), combined with walking on
surrounding islands. Game
Viewing: This area, with its combination of permanent water courses, massive floodplains and network of intriguing island networks is a safe haven to many animal and bird species. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding and for the fishermen, fishing for bream and tiger is a must. Day
5-8:

the Chobe National Park, Botswana's premier venue for guests looking
for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park & Chobe
River. Activities: 4
x 4 game drives in the Chobe National Park and Chobe River boat
cruises at Chobe Game Lodge. Game
Viewing: Chobe's wildlife roams in abundance
and diversity and is home to the largest concentration of elephant in
Africa. During the dry season, these herds, as well as large herds of
buffalo, congregate along the fertile flood plains of the Chobe River.
Magnificent sightings of lion, wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable,
giraffe and roan antelope are also frequent in the area. Day
9-12:
Road
transfer from Chobe Game Lodge to Taita Falcon Lodge Accommodation: 3
nights accommodation in reed and stone
chalets at Taita Falcon Lodge, just 11km
from the mighty Victoria Falls, on the Zambian side of the Zambezi
River, and just 20km from Livingstone. Taita Falcon Lodge is
beautifully situated on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, offering a
spectacular view of the raging waters 200m below. Activities: Guided
bush and bird walks, visit to the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls,
cultural village tour, choice of any 2 additional activities (sunset
cruise, game drive or
Livingstone Tour) at Taita Falcon Lodge. Game
Viewing: Bird life is abundant around the Lodge grounds, with resident Vereaux (Black) Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, and the Taita Falcon from which the Lodge takes its name, as well as a variety of other raptors and smaller birds. Of
course, the main attraction to this part of the world is the famous
Mosi-oa-Tunya or “Smoke that Thunders”, as known by the local
people, which quite aptly describes the mighty Victoria Falls. Day
