LODGE: Kubu lodge
REGION: Chobe
Kubu Lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River, just 2km upstream from the confluence with the Zambezi where 4 countries meet – Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia, in the northern Botswana village of Kazungula. The property covers 30 hectares of forest reserve land and is a sanctuary for the Chobe Bushbuck. The entry gate to the Chobe National Park is a mere 12km away and the mighty Victoria Falls just an hour away. 11 wooden, thatched chalets are elevated on stilts each with a balcony and are set on expansive lawns beneath giant ebony and wild fig trees along the banks of the Chobe river. Lebala Camp is hidden in the southern portion of the extensive Kwando wilderness in Northern Botswana. The camp comprises of 8 spacious luxurious safari tents, accommodating only 16 guests.
